About

Frequently asked questions

These structured lessons provide a wide range of activities for children. These classes promote the overall fitness levels, co-ordination, balance and flexibility. We utilise all the Olympic apparatus, including the trampoline to encourage variety and develop skill level, in a fun environment. Each term will be dedicated towards a particular goal, including badge work and at least one friendly competition.

Age range

Your child must be in school year reception or year 1 at the start of the term to take part in this course.

Our classes are changing from age groups to school year groups. Therefore, your child/ren may remain in their current class/es until a space becomes available in their correct year group.

Children with disabilities

We have launched gymnastics classes especially for children with disabilities. Contact gymteam@camden.gov.uk for more information

You will not be able to book your child on to any other gymnastics courses until we have assessed their support needs in the new ‘Gymnastics for Children with Disabilities’ classes.

British Gymnastics membership

Children participating in our gymnastics courses must be a member of British Gymnastics and London Gymnastics.

Membership is compulsory and provides insurance while your child is in the gym.  It is renewable every September, this payment covers your child until then. Your child will receive a membership card and badge from British Gymnastics.

We will add the cost of both memberships to the final amount payable. The cost is £22.50.
